I had been a committed smoker for over 25 years and enjoyed every bit of it. In the last few years, I did periodically try to stop smoking. I put myself under hypnotherapy on two occasions and tried nicotine replacement on a few others. I stopped for between 3 hours (hypnotherapy) and six weeks (patches).

In anticipation of the smoking ban in England from July 1, I decided to make one more attempt to stop smoking. To help me achieve this hitherto impossible objective, I consulted with Shomit - not without some trepidation, given my previous lack of success with hypnotherapy. Shomit approached my challenge quite differently and as part of his process, spent a fair amount of time building up a picture of the kind of person I am and developing his strategy to help me. 

Whilst it is early days yet, (probably always is for an ex smoker) I have found it easy to expose myself to all the environments where I really enjoyed a cigarette and not felt the slightest desire to smoke. Strangely, this time, I don’t feel like an ex smoker but like someone who does not smoke. Long may it last. Thank you, Shomit.

I have been sleeping extremely well since my session on insomnia with Dr. Mitter. Not only do I not have difficulties falling asleep - it will only take about 15-20 mins which is a great progress compared to before when it could take me a couple of hours - but I also do not wake up in between during the night. In fact, I wake up by myself a few minutes before my alarm goes off. That is an amazing! I have been sleeping well for the whole week, so this can not be a coincidence! Insomnia good-bye! I'm very happy with this result!

Also, the way I think and perceive things has definitely changed very much since we started the sessions. I got rid of a lot of baggage and am so much more positive. I am really grateful for this. A lot of changes are happening in my life and I am really excited about what the future will bring! Thank you so much!!!

I was nervous about hypnotherapy and frightened that I might lose control and feel exposed. To my relief I found Dr. Mitter's hypnotherapy sessions to be completely comfortable, relaxing and safe. There was never any sense that I was giving up my will and, even when I examined difficult incidents from my past, I was able to consider them without reliving the trauma. With Dr. Mitter's help, I am gaining an 
increased sense of liberation from anxiety and a feeling of faith in the universe and my place in it.
